Name: The WSDOT Prequalification Program-- What, How and Why?
Date: November 7, 2018
Time: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM PST
Registration: Sorry, public registration for this event has been closed.
Event Description:
This topic is timely, timely, timely!  WSDOT is in the middle of implementing its new prequalification program for engineering firms. What is the Department doing?  What is being done to protect the confidentiality of rates?  How will the process be executed? How are classifications being handled?  Maybe, most importantly, why is the Department doing this?  These questions and more will now be answered.

ACEC Members will be joined by WSDOT’s Erik Jonson, Contracting Services Manager and Ahmer Nizam, Technical Services and Business Manager. When invited to attend, they expressed the importance of transparency and their sincere desire to speak directly to ACEC Members and the consulting engineering community. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Nizam will provide background on the program, explain its genesis, and answer individual questions from the audience.

All firms who work with WSDOT (or may in the future) are encouraged to attend!
