Grant Degginger for Port Commissioner
Grant Degginger, a former Bellevue Mayor and city councilmember, attorney, and regional leader will run for the Port of Seattle in the position being vacated by current Commissioner Courtney Gregoire. As an elected official, Degginger helped lead efforts to bring light rail to the Eastside, protect open space and parks, and lead efforts to expand small business and affordable housing. A past chair of the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission, Degginger is a leading advocate for open, transparent elections and government.
On the Port, Degginger wants to continue focusing on regional mobility, environmental leadership and making sure both SeaTac and our seaport grow as economic and travel hubs, as well as a welcoming place for all who visit, work, or come seeking a better life in our region.
Grant is currently the Chair of the Government Law Team at Lane Powell and an active member of ACEC Washington. He is a rational, well-reasoned individual who understands A/E/C issues and would be an asset to our industry on the Port Commission. Please join ACEC in supporting Degginger and for lunch and a conversation with the candidate.
