ACEC-WSDOT Annual Joint Meeting 2018
The annual ACEC Washington and Washington State Department of Transportation joint meeting will be held June 7th at the Bellevue Red Lion Hotel.
As always, the hallmark of this year’s meeting will be the unique opportunity to network with other industry leaders. There is no other event that better facilitates the interaction between private industry and WSDOT personnel. Relationships clearly matter and the more ACEC and WSDOT can do to facilitate and maintain them, the better and more capably Washington’s transportation projects will be performed. Join us to share in the experience.
The strength and value of this collaborative and beneficial relationship will also be highlighted by topical presentations by both ACEC member leaders and WSDOT leaders. This year’s topics will include:
- WSDOT’s Planned New Prequalification Process
- Program Delivery Update
- Inclusion and the Mentor-Protégé Program
Secretary of Transportation Roger Millar will be the keynote speaker at lunch, where he will bring the group up to date on the latest happenings at the Department, the relationship with private industry, and the status of in initiatives such as mentor-protégé.
In addition, Senator Hans Zeiger has been invited to speak regarding the latest legislative goings on. Representative Judy Clibborn has also been invited to both speak, but more importantly to be recognized for her years of dedicated service and leadership in Washington’s transportation investment and development.
