Event Description:
With major transportation initiatives just around the corner, the competition to win projects is tougher than ever. What are selection panels looking for now in proposals and interviews? Has their criteria changed as the competition gets tougher? Join Johnston Training Group as they share insights and stories from recent selection panel interviews with key public transportation agencies in Washington State. Topics covered will include what these agencies:

  • Must see in a proposal to shortlist a firm.
  • Assess when determining delivery methods, including Design-Build and GC/CM.
  • Evaluate when considering location, diversity, communication, and previous work.
  • Define as the unique factors that must be addressed regarding transportation projects.
  • Consider when differentiating between teams of similar ability.

This four-hour workshop will focus on the results from one-on-one conversations with seasoned selection panel members and how to implement these winning ideas within your firm. You’ll also learn how to find the time to practice and prepare to keep your pursuit of Washington State transportation (and other) projects in the fast lane.
